Overview
The Jerusalem Archaeological Park (Davidson Exhibition and Virtual Reconstruction Centre) is one of Israel’s most important archaeological sites, extends over a huge amount of land near the Old City walls. See remains including walls, tombs, inscriptions and monumental structures that date back to the pre-First Temple Period (4500 BCE) and span to the late Islamic Period (1917 CE). Experience the virtual interactive reconstruction of the Second Temple, and feel like you’re actually there. View the Davidson Center, a three floor exhibition that takes visitors through Second Temple period Jerusalem. See artifacts such as vessels, mikvaot (ritual baths) and models that portray main events in Jerusalem throughout time. See films about the 150 year history of archaeological excavations and the Jewish pilgrimage during the Second Temple period. Take a guided tour of the City of David, Old Jerusalem and the Temple Mount walls.
