Find a wonder of history and beauty at Karnei Hittin (Horns of Hattin) National Park that covers over 500 acres. This site was named for an inactive volcano with two peaks that resemble horns.
With mountainous views of the Galilee, Kinneret, Golan and the Arbel Valley, this site is known for the battle in which the Muslim leader Saladin defeated Crusader armies in 1187. View the remains of trenches occupied during the 1948 War of Independence and other historic remnants.
See the flora and fauna and at the edge of the park visit Nabi Shu’ayb, Jethro’s tomb, which is a sacred Druze site.
